Kendal Museum Digital Collections
With support from the Heritage Lottery Fund, Kendal Museum has digitised two mineral collections and one herbaria collection by local men Bill Shaw, John Hamer and Joseph Martindale. Some of the collection dates back to the 19th century and has never been on public display due to its fragility. The scientific 'Metamorfoze' process of image preservation was used to ensure the images are an accurate archive for future generations.
