The Big Inspiration Art Trail Exhibition
27th March - 26th June 2010
An exciting collaboration between Green Door Studios, Kendal Museum, Kendal College and participating shop venues throughout Kendal town centre.
Following on from the success of the Big Inspiration 2008, it was decided that this should be a biannual exhbition. The 2008 exhibition was featured in the Guardian arts listings and sales were buoyant with the art trail creating interest throughout Kendal Town centre.
The Museum staff and volunteers have chosen 10 objects from the nationally important collections of natural history, geology and history.
Artists have chosen an object for inspiration and produced two artworks each.
The artworks create a Town Trail leading through Kendal to the grand finale at Kendal Museum.
