Kendal College Art Exhibition - Go Local
11 February - 10 March 2012Go Local is an exhibition showcasing the diversity and high standard of work being produced by the art and design students at Kendal College. Students have responded to the Go Local theme through a variety of different disciplines and approaches, ranging from contemporary fine art to graphic design. The exhibition includes Foundation Studies in Art and Design and Foundation Degree in Drawing students.
Curiosities: Celebrating Trees

A photographic exhibition of compettion winners from the North west of England who photographed their favourite tree.
Kendal’s Canal Bridges

An exhibition of drawings by John Davies of canal bridges in the Kendal area.
Rock Solid
24 March – 16 June 2012
An exhibition of specially created artworks based on Lakeland Geology. Lakeland geology is of intense interest as it is being considered for the geological disposal of high level nuclear wastes. Associated with the exhibition will be lectures and workshops examining this topic.
