Tree Dressing

Green Art Works are celebrating the beauty of trees on Saturday 4 December at Kendal Museum.

This is an event for the whole family. Come and celebrate with us and make a shining charm to catch the spirit of the season using recycled materials. Create an art work that will inspire you to make your own Christmas tree decorations and help you see trees in a new light. Artist Julian Longcake and storyteller Nici Long hope to make the experience a memorable one for young and old alike.

There will be two sessions, both of which are free for adults and children, so come along and help us to decorate the Museum's corkscrew Hazel tree and get into the festive spirit.

The first session is from 11.00am - 12.00 noon and second is from 1.00pm - 2.00pm with the dressing process beginning at 3.00pm to catch the last of the day’s light. Come and join us!
