  • Kendal College Art Exhibition - Go Local
    An exhibition showcasing the diverse and high standard of work being produced by the art and design students at Kendal College.
    11 February - 10 March 2012

  • Curiosities: Celebrating Trees
    A photographic exhibition of competition winners from the North West of England who photographed their favourite tree.  
    10th February– 2nd March 2012

  • Kendal’s Canal Bridges
    An exhibition of drawings by John Davies, an architect who lives and works in Kendal of the northern reaches of the Lancaster Canal bridges over a ten year period.
    10 March – 18 May 2012

  • Rock Solid
    An exhibition of specially created artworks based on Lakeland Geology. Lakeland geology is of intense interest as it is being considered for the geological disposal of high level nuclear wastes. Associated with the exhibition will be lectures and workshops examining this topic.

    An exhibition about the life of the artist George Romney.

  • Veolia Environnement Wildlife Photographer of the Year
    The most prestigious annual wildlife photography competition of its kind makes its long awaited return to Kendal Museum this year.

  • Mountain Film Festival Exhibition
    Kendal Museum is proud to be part of this international exhibition, which will see outdoor enthusiasts from around the world converge on Kendal to celebrate mountain culture in film, lectures, art and literature.
